No...no...No! No! No! There are other doctors and you don't have to be treated that way! He's Fired! Look at the Doctors List here, and literally, run for your life!

JMHO - of course.

Here's my response to Carol's former doc:"Well maybe if you would focus more on my thyroid, I could focus more on living my life!"(I am not of course advocating rudeness to one's doctor, but one needs to vent once in a while and this is a safe place to do so )>> > That sounds very similar to my former doc saying "You're focusing too> much on your thyroid."> > Carol

Chelle,

Would have been great :-), but I'm more respectful than he his and kept it to myself. He's still going to be my doc (lower case) for other stuff. Not thyroid...that comment was the last straw, after many times saying, "But I don't feel well", "If I wasn't here, I'd be home in bed." and every variation of that you can think of. Guess I'm going to just have to change my attitude and just pity him, he just doesn't have the expertise.

I'll keep everyone who is interested posted about my progress with Dr.

Gonino. I made my initial appointment because he was on the group

doctor list, he prescribes Armour, he's on my provider list and his

wife is hypo. I was initially concerned about the website for the

'Wellness Group' myself, but he is also a primary care physician and a

Doctor of Osteopathy which by definition means that he is concerned

with the whole person and not just individual body parts. I was

impressed by that. I don't know enough about him yet to recommend him

to anyone, but I had a positive experience and wanted I wanted to

share it... Judy

Dr. Gonino is now hypothyroid himself, too. Judy wrote: I'll keep everyone who is interested posted about my progress with Dr.Gonino.
