How premature was your son? My twins were born at 26 weeks. My son is on the

spectrum (and he had tons of antibiotics). I recently read a preliminary

study, that approximately 25 percent of micropreemies have autism. My son

also has CP, and I read a study that over 30% of preemies with CP did not

have any hypoxic events, but they were exposed to a herpes-related virus

around the time of birth, which resulted in a type of encephalitis. Which is

why the protocol seems to me to " fit " with my son.

Has anyone ever had a child have a severe reaction to Augmentin?

When my son was 16 months old he had this reaction and after that is

when I noticed that he changed. Could this have caused a problem in

his immune system? He also had a lot of antibiotics at birth because

of problems that occured from being premature due to me having

placenta previa. If anyone knows anything about this I would really

appreciate the infromation.
