Guest guest
Thank you so much for welcoming me to this group. My name is Judy and I live in Texas. I have been on Levothyroxine medication for about 35 years now. Most of that time I was in Canada taking Eltroxin 100mcg. I've been in the USA for 2 years now but I've still been refilling my prescription with the Canadian brand. I tried Synthroid once, for about 6 months, but my hair fell out and I just did not feel well at all. I switched back to the Eltroxin as soon as I could. I am still on it today. I am very interested in people experience with Armour thyroid. It has been mentioned to me many times over the years, but never by a doctor of course. My doctors simply look at my numbers (or should I say number since these days they only test for TSH and say my thyroid is fine and not related to any of my other symptoms. I'm also knee deep in menopause and that's not helping. When I was first diagnosed, my TSH was 62, but now it's in the range of 2-3. I actually feel that's a little low for me and I think they've changed the 'ok' chart over time. I used to run around 7 and I think I felt better then. So, thanks again, I look forward to reading and learning. Have a great day!... Judy
