Hey everyone. Well we think it finally happened. Wednesday night I gave my 8

month old daughter Josalyn a bath after feeding her some sweet potatoe baby

food. I was putting lotion on her and putting her pjs on her and when I went to

button the bottoms I moved her leg and there was absolutely no muscle tone,

tension nothing. Her arms and legs both were compeletly loose and not tightening

at all. I screamed for my Mom and when she ran in my step dad was close behind

her. He was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years so he grabbed her from me and

flipped my limp baby over to see if she was breathing. She wasnt and then went

to give her cpr but before he laid her on the bed she started crying and moving

a little. It only lasted 25 seconds but seemed like a lifetime. My mom had

called 911 and by the time the ambulance got there she was pretty much back to

her normal self just seemed a little tired and cranky. I took her to St Louis

Children's Hospital as soon as her dad got there which unnervingly was before

the ambulance left. He works 40 minutes away and got home in 20. After waiting

for hours first in the waiting room and then the actually ER room we got the

results of all her blood tests and the Magnesium Phosphate level was normal

which they said it would have either of been too high or too low to show a

seizure. However when they discharged us they just chalked it up to a seizure

because of her PMG and called it a day. Im sure thats what it was but now I am

waiting to hear back from her neurologist to schedule an eeg. Not sure if this

email is a question or just me venting and wanting someone to talk to...
