Guest guest
Welcome to the group. What is your name? I am Sandrea. I also have fibro in my hands and am very limited as to what I can do. I have a special computer keyboard setup that helps some and I also have voice recognition software to use on my computer. I use enlarged pens to write but only write notes to myself, can't write a whole lot anymore. I am so sorry it is taking you so long for your SS. Have you contacted a SS lawyer? They can be really helpful. I know the finances are a huge issue for most of us and it is a stress we don't need at all. I hope you won't lose your house as that is very scary along with a huge loss. Guest guest
Hi Greg, I haven't really had a problem with my band. There are alot of protien supplements like lo-carb shakes and thnings along the way and then when you stop you can have a meal that you knwo you can eat. Other wise you could always get you band lossened before you go on a long trip if you are worried about it. You would just have to make sure you try to make the best food choices possible. That is the beauty of having an adjustable band. They are things to talk to your Doctor about. I don't think you owul have a problem at all as long as you don't take a long trip in the first couple of months while you get use to the band, what you can eat and the restriction. The band will work as long as you work with it. Good luck and keep us posted. > > > > Hi All, > > Im Greg & Im thinking of having a banding done & I have a few questions you > experienced people may have the answers for.
