" We have I am not sure how many hundred members who have seen

probably thousands of docs for thyroid... "

Jan, I think it would be of great benefit if you reposted this

request for doctor information often, like even weekly, just to keep

all members reminded of it. Especially the part about the fact that

sharing valuable information like this is the main purpose of this

group.

**sheepishly raises hand** I'll go fill out my information! Let's

see, it's only been about 2 years that I've been on this board...

**lowers head in shame and walks off to pull information together**

Thank you so much for creating the database! I think we could end up

with some very interesting and extremely valuable information on the

attitudes, testing and treatment protocols around the state.

Especially if we can get several entries on each doctor. If this

could help save folks time and frustration, it's really worth it.

(a thought: could the physician names be alphabetized, maybe within

a region?)

I became speechless the day I started working in the field, at least after awhile.

RE: Speaking of the Database. . . .uh. . . .

Jan,

I was thinking about that exact same thing this morning. I think that it is so sad that in the HUGE state of Texas there are only 27 entries of doctors that have a clue about thyroid let alone thyroid/adrenal other hormones. How many years have you been collecting the information on the doctors? I work in health care and the thought of this just leaves me speechless.

- Why don't you fill out a database form for the vacuum cleaner guy (Oreck?) and some of the other turkeys you have seen? wrote: I became speechless the day I started working in the field, at least after awhile. There is no way to reorganize the database. But our Texas Armour Docs list is arranged exactly as you suggest. As for reposting the doctor database request, we can create a file and have it sent out every month. You are a moderator. Why don't you go ahead and create that file? The options for sending should be at the bottom of the page after you create the file. rgrprop wrote: "We have I am not sure how many hundred members who have seen probably thousands of docs for thyroid..."Jan, I think it would be of great benefit if you reposted this request for doctor information

How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.

Yes, I think I have neglected this. I did fill it out for one doctor, but not the other 3 or 4 or so. Shame on me. I now have a Bissell, and my daughter has one too, but neither of us has had a really good thyroid doctor.

Well, thank God you got rid of the Oreck! (That's the one with the tank of water and all the attachments, right? Or was ir just a bag of hot air?) wrote: Yes, I think I have neglected this. Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.

LOTS of hot air and a big leak in the end.
