Waking up with a headache can be a sign of allergies

(dust, mold) -- both live in pillows. They say you

should run your pillows in a hot dryer once a week or

two to kill the mold and dust mites.

Thanks for the tip. Did they suggest a length of time to leave the pillows in the dryer? (I wonder how long would be too long?)>> Waking up with a headache can be a sign of allergies> (dust, mold) -- both live in pillows. I'll take your word for it (about it being gross!), she said, while stuffing the pillows in the washer.

If you find a pillow cover that's not crunchy and stiff let us know.

Good idea, Ruth (about the dust mite pillow cover -- where do you find those, btw?) You can't be too careful, especially in hotels and motels.I found this link by typing "how to clean pillows" in the Yahoo Search bar:http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/lv_household_tips/article/0,2041,DIY_14119_4855250,00.htmlIt seems fairly thorough. I think I'll try washing our pillows today. ~Chelle >> Oh yuck, yuck, yuck... They say those dust mites are crawling on your skin, munching away. I

saw a show on yrs ago where they said the mites get so happy when you

go to bed. Ick!! I wash our sheets twice a week in hot water. lol

I'd suggest that you bring your own pillow but then do those hotel

mites come home with you and now go to your bed? Gross thought. I can't

wait to get all new pillows.
