week 2 progress

Finished first 2 weeks. Here is my own report card:

1. Can go one extra notch on all my belts. excellent. My 36 pants

are too big and some of my old 34's actually almost fit.

2. Broke down last night and had 1 glass of wine with dinner after

work. Bad.

3. I have moved from starting my cardio intervals at 5.0 to starting

at 6.0 on treadmill. I thought the weights would be the hardest part

but I am finding the cardio the huge challenge and I really do like

to run. Cardio workouts kick my butt.

4. Have lost 5 lbs although I really don't care too much about scale

weight.

5. Can't wait to eat french fries on my off day tomorrow. It's my

biggest weakness.

Most importantly, I had serious doubts when I started that I would be

able to fit things in with a 12-14 hour typical work day and all the

travel that I do. I am happy to report I can fit it in. It's not as

hard as I thought as long as you plan.

Well, wedding and Maui honeymoon are 5 months away. My six pack will

be back by the time I hit Maui.
