I don't know if this one's okay, you'd have

to ask Dr. Goldberg about this, but Whole

Foods does carry goat milk yogurt. It's made

by Redwood Hill Farm. Since goat milk has not

been mentioned I'm guessing it's not okay,

but this might be something to ask about.

As long as your child *does not* show sensitivity to goat milk on his

or her food allergy panel, then *all* goat milk products are okay, and

in fact, healthy, according to Dr. Goldberg.

My son was a yogurt addict before we started the protocol. I let

him try some goat milk yogurt from Trader Joe's, which I flavored with

low-sugar apricot preserves...and he spit it out. He said it was " too

strong " .

yes. I'm in agreement here. I tried goat yogurt myself, mixed with

pineapple. I thought that it would be sweet and strong enough to counteract

the yogurt, but it wasnt. That is some tart stuff! Lots of great

probiotics in it though. That's what causes the strong taste.

My cousin raised goats, milks them and makes cheese.

She says if they are fed the proper grains their milk

is sweet as is their cheese.

True, though there are different forms of casein and that in goats

milk is as I understand more easily digested (or in other words more

easily broken down).
