Guest guest
Jo - Like Lynn said of Kym - you are a walking, talking, breathing advertistment for (the success of) this surgery. You're such an inspiration. But THIS writing truly brought tears to my eyes! My ugliest before=picture is one of me seated on the couch surrounded by little grandkids - and one huge belly. Thanks for reminding me to be forever grateful! Bobbe in Paso Robles. 10-19 yrs old=152. Highest=285 & 24/3X. 3/03 DS=268 down to 137/12-14. Today=155/14. Will settle for 148! Guest guest
I love hearing the gratitude even after all these years Great story Jo!!! I too think the DS has effected my relationships - I know I'm more active mom because of the DS. I never take for granted the fact I can get on the floor with my kids or they actually have a lap to sit on. --Kym in Seattle 4 1/2 years post DS
Guest guest
I can fit with them on the kiddie rides. I get to hear > their screams and laughter. I get to hear them yell " Nana I love > you so much " while riding with them on the caterpillar roller > coaster. Still feeling blessed after 5 1/2 years. > Hugs > Jo ******************** (warm happy smiles with tears) Aw Jo, it is a blessing still. I know how you feel. I will be 5 years out in Dec. (where oh where does the time go?) And I still am amazed at times. Like you I went to the fair, but to see my quilts. And happened to run into our local papers photographer who wanted a pic of me by one of my quilts. She said to squat by it.....I thought - I DONT SQUAT - but I did and I got up without help....that would have never happened before, ever! So to me the miracle was that I could squat! And the pic didnt turn out half bad either.... What a blessing. love you Sharon in Onyx who can cop a squat anywhere....who knew

I really wanted to go when you had your grand opening but just couldn't make it. Perhaps someday... Congrats on a wonderful showing at the fair! Aloha to your Kona quilt!
