Guest guest
Walking just 12 miles per week has been found to reverse the ill effects of a sedentary lifestyle. That is easy to get if you park far away from doors of malls. Or heck, if you just go to the mall and walk. Marta
Guest guest
I *was* intending to say " No, I can't " but Jo shamed me. A conditioned heart is more efficient and beats slower, thereby taking longer to reach X-billion beats! Marta 16 words! (LOL) > Can you tell me why, in 20 words or less (LOL), why, if a human > heart only has X-billion beats in it, how exercise (which uses extra > beats--and fast ones!) makes us healthier and live longer. Guest guest
I can help with that one Shirley! Before I exercised regularly, my standing heart rate was around 79 beats per minute. (This was also before the DS.) After the DS, my standing heart rate averaged about 73 beats per minute. Now that I exercise regularly my standing heart rate averages 69 beats per minute. I may be TEMPORARILY upping my heart rate during exercise, but the rest of the day it beats much more slowly than it would if I didn't exercise so I'm actually saving beats overall. Does that help?
