Guest guest
Fabulous.......................We have too experienced many new language bursts. Ours currently is asking " Why questions " . I'm so happy for you all. Lynn First 4-word sentence Yesterday (5.4 years ... 2.1 on protocol) said " I want fruit bar " This is new ground for us ... Guest guest
Dave, Congrats!! It's so cool when language and speech comes in, no matter how slowly. Last week we went out to dinner and (4.1) was very alarmed that we let the waitress hold his baby brother. He said " Ashton should run away from that lady! " lol I was watching some old home videos from about 17 mos ago (same time we started with Dr. G.) I was shocked at how little speech had. He was still relying primarly on signs to communicate. All his speech sounds were one syllable approximations. Now he jabbers on and on and on....still with residual language/speech issues but my gosh, I had forgotten how far he's come in that dept. It was nice to see.
