I may also consider hiring a biller 1-2 hours every couple of weeks - is that generally cheaper? Can someone using AC walk me through this? If you wish to contact me off-line I would prefer my private e-mail ortegajmcomcast (DOT) net for contact. Thanks for any input! (I can't wait to go to camp and learn more!) Guest guest
It is not hard to do billing yourself. Definitely easier than algebra. I use officeally.com and they are friendly and FREE!!! As you get going in practice you will have a light schedule the first few months generally. It is the perfect time to learn billing -- as you go. It is super easy. Call me anytime if you need help. BTW, I hand enetr the data the first time on their online billing system. The system saves it then I just update with time/date/ code and press update after each visit to bill. This is great for my very low volume lifestyle. If I were seeing more than 12 patients per day I may want to send zip files or something to office ally (as opposed to online entry) Either way the price tag works.
