Their main program is in Bethesda and now they have an annex in New York City. I have heard good and bad. My son had a great reaction - after the first two week loop, he became totally toilet trained (age 4) and started following directions in class. We did an eight day booster the following year and only got minor improvements. I have seen it help more than hurt. I have continued with Samonas listening program at home and find my son processes much more quickly after he finishes each 3 week loop. Note that during the listening process they seem much much worse - increased stimming, covering ears, agitated, etc. When we finish - his body is calmer, listening is better and spontaneous language is up. The name of their group is Dynamic Development Pediatric Services (301) 951-0303. The name of the audiologist is Leyden,MS,CCC-A. We are seeing lots of positives since starting in Dec.. Take Care, Tomatis Hi , I was interested in hearing what anybody out there knows about the Tomatis Method, anyone try this and if so could you share what it all about. I just stared reading about it, but it looks like there is no offical clinic in U.S. is this right. Any help or infor. will be appreciated. Thanks B. My son's audiological progress has been breathtaking. We've been doing the treatment for just over a year! I highly recommend all the types of audiological treatments they do!!
