Guest guest
Marta..definitely want to see you and I don't think it would really be a trip to see Dr. K and a meeting without Woolgrowers afterwards. Anyone else up for that???? Jo....sounds like you'll NEVER be home this year. Oh, but what fun!! Good thing I'm catching you with at least a day in town. See you in a few weeks. PS Can't wait to see what color Pat's hair is. Katz
Guest guest
Okie Dokie....Woolgrowers it is after the Feb. 13th support meeting. I think there is some Shrimp Scampi with my name on it! Note to entire group: We don't go to Woolgrowers " often " ..so it's an Event. EVERYONE is invited. Woolgrowers is a favorite Basque Restaurant here in Bakersfield. I've included a link so you can Check out the menu & the address. At our online yahoo page you will find directions from the support meeting to Woolgrowers in the " files " section. Make an effort to join us, we always have fun and the more the merrier. http://www.woolgrowers.net/ Also note..Woolgrowers usually won't individualize our check, so bring some cash, as we just collect the money amongst ourselves to pay the bill. If your a newbie who is considering the surgery, it's always reassuring to see post-ops eating and enjoying food. Hope to see old friends and Make new ones. Guest guest
Oh how I wish I could be there!!! And, as Jo points out. to all newbies that aren't switched yet. it is an incredible testament to this surgery! I went to Woolgrowers with at least 20 people - most of who had been switched - and I was blown away. It took any and all doubts of which weight loss surgery was the best for me!!!!! Someone eat a shrimp for me. I leave the tongue for others to enjoy. Ewww - shudder. I will be thinking of you all enjoying that meal while I'm working late into the night preparing for Valentine's Day. Heavy sigh. Guest guest
It is the tongue, I am certain, that makes the DS work as it does. Without tongue, preferably at Wool Growers, the DS is just another RNY.
