Dear All,

Just thought to share my little story.

a few weeks ago, my handsome little brother came back from Malaysia

with a souvenir - a bottle of tiny preserved dark pink shrimp called

Cinchalok, very famous in the town that he visited. Its a very

popular ingredient for chilli mixes.everyone knows it here.

i thought i would open it today. Looking at the contents through the

glass bottle, there were little bubbles here n there.... bad

feeling... Mom n me, we tot we'll just open the cap a little and let

out all the trapped air first. so i did it , bit by bit... then

horror of horrors, the cap flew off with a loud balloon burst sound

in a half-blink... next thing i knew i was splattered with the pink

gunk of shrimp that smelled like concentrated sea brine, the walls

and everything within a 3 metre (around 9 feet) radius were dressed

in pink splotches, smelling the same as me......

Ma was close to fuming mad... i spent the next half hour washing

dishes and pots and bottles, anything that was within reach of the

pink explosion while giggling away.... then was ordered me to hit

the showers with whatever better smelling bathgel available...

ly , i was kinda happy, (ok it exploded but the kitchen is

still standing). after laughing so much, finally forgot all that

stupid stress for a while...

Merry Christmas!
