Hi ph,

Now you are learning slowly not to take dictionary meaning & confuse.

Dictionary meaning need to be blended with sensible logic.

My earlier post was intentional to come to the right point.

+/- etc. are relative & one need to connect the scope right way & look

the right way.

Seeing the wrong way the " -/+ " appears reverse but is not actually reverse.
