Guest guest
I agree with Jo. It shows me it can be done and we can get smaller even after our " window " has closed. Even with the window closed, we can still lose just like anyone else. May not be as fast as when we were newbies but it can be done and Im so proud of you for doing it. Congrats Vicki Jo wrote: Anyway, I know there are those of us that > are struggling with rebound weight so I hope no one gets mad at me for > crowing a little. =============================================================== Tracey Crow baby CROW!!!!!! Guest guest
Tracey that is wonderful news. I am very proud of you. Everytime I buy new jeans they are too big in a week or so. Maybe it is because I am buying cheap stuff until I stabilize more. I hope that I can get into a 12 soon but it is a slow battle. Ever since the invasion of all the grandkids (two of whom are vegetarians) I have bounced back and forth. I was 153 for a nano second and then 155 and 157 and back down. I feel guilty eating meat while they have protein rice, beans and other appropriate things picked out by their mom. Every time I eat bread I gain two pounds. So I am going back to basics: cottage cheese, cheese, eggs, salads and meat. I learned that three bean salad is number one on the list of absolute prohibited things. My husband has been making rude gas jokes ever since. For some reason I absolutely crave three bean salad from Costco. Anyone have a good brachioplasty surgeon in Washington State? Otherwise, I want to go to Brazil. Maybe Ginger will need company when she has more work done next year. Marla DS: 2-9-05 -

Guest guest
Thank you, Marta! Since I've spent the last three days on my feet at Comic-Con, I'm so grateful I had this surgery! I would be DYING in pain otherwise! Love and Hugs! Tracey > > Tracey, Go ahead and shout about it! You deserve it! > > Marta >
Guest guest
Thank you Bobbe! I definitely plan to be there! And I'm hoping I'll be helping my mom move that same week. She's coming in a week to look at a couple of homes and if she likes the one I think she will, she's going to put an offer on it the same day. Keep your fingers crossed for us! Hugs! Guest guest
Thank you, Marla! That's fantastic that you're losing inches so rapidly! Remember, even if the pounds go up and down, as long as you're sizes are going down, you're doing great! Hugs! Tracey > > Tracey that is wonderful news. I am very proud of you. Guest guest
Jeez Melodie, you want specifics? lol! Well, I'll try. First of all, my appetite has really lessened in the last few months. I think that's because I cut back on my sugar and upped my protein a lot. I find myself satisfied for much longer now. Breakfast is almost always a protein drink (it's been so hot that a nice icy protein drink is all I want in the mornings). For lunch, I've been having lots of soy chicken, sushi, and low carb mexican. I still don't drink as much water as I should but I've upped it lately due to the heat. Dinner is usually more soy chicken or another protein drink. I also snack on lots of fruit. I don't eat as many veggies as I should and I'm trying to get better at that. I exercise three to four days a week. One of those days is weight bearing exercise. And I do it for at least 30 minutes. I find that exercising before work is best for me, otherwise I tend to put it off until it's too late in the evening. So, as you see, I don't have any real secrets. I think the exercise is truly the catalyst. I recommend it to EVERYONE. Hugs! Guest guest
that and increase in protein is helping. I read that if you decrease your caloric intake by 500 calories a day, you can lose a pound a week. Dropping back on the sugar is huge. I need to do that and increase my protein- especially when my protein was low on my last labs. How do I kick this sugar addiction?? Its awful........
