Guest guest
Im a huge animal and I can understand his devastation. My dogs are my babies. He and Raven are in my prayers. Keep looking. She is probably scared but hopefully someone has her. Does she have a collar?? Vicki Jim wrote: Ok, Folks; there are so many large matters which need our prayers, but I have a small one - small to me but large to another. As many of you know, I have a friend living with me. He is 25 and his boyfriend kicked him out last December and he had no place to go. So, I opened my home to him. He came with a dog, Raven. That dog is German shepherd look-alike but small, and so loving. (It loves to wake me up in the middle of the night by getting on my bed, laying on tope of me and drooling all over my face. Any road, this afternoon, the door was open for about 3 minutes and Raven, who has never wanted out of the back yard, has disappeared. I feel bad, but Josh is devastated. I personally walked every block of this town looking for Raven, and so have about a dozen other people. We simply cannot find her. Josh is inconsolable. Not more than three hours before Raven disappeared, josh told one of my friends (who'd just put a dog down) that " I don't know what I'd do if something happened to Raven. " Would you mind, in between the more important prayers, remembering Raven and ask for her to find her way home. Thanks in advance, Jim

Guest guest
Jim, Most local papers will let you run " lost and found " ads for free. Also, don't just call, but check the humane society/pound every other day at least. Register a description with them. They will also have a list of animals that they have found that have been hit and killed. I know it is not where you want to find Raven, but it can offer closer, if that is the case. Until the safe return, you are in my prayers! in OR

Guest guest
Hi Elle; no word; no hide; no fur. It's as if that dog was abducted by aliens. We have (and had) about 12 neighborhood kids on bikes going all over town looking for her to no avail. Josh has not said a single word to me since she disappeared. Somehow, it's my fault. I can't believe how much I became attached to Raven, too. Thank you for asking, and thanks for all the prayers. _____ From: DS_Friends_Keshishian [mailto:DS_Friends_Keshishian ] On Behalf Of Elle Rowley at HolidayFun Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 1:28 PM To: DS_Friends_Keshishian Subject: Re: A little prayer request Jim... Guest guest
Jim- I hope someone found her and is taking care of her. Does she have a collar? This is not your fault. Our animals become our children and the loss is probably very hard on him. Hopefully he keeps looking and hopefully she is in a home being fed. I dont know what the weather is like there but it is blistering here and so if someone did take her, at least she is hopefully comfy Vicki Jim wrote: Hi Elle; no word; no hide; no fur. Guest guest
Jim...The Kid/bike patrol is a great Idea...also try calling all vets in the area and ask that they be on the look out for someone with a new pet that matches the description. I would Call/visit the animal shelters often. I would also place a missing pet ad in the local paper. Praying Jo
Guest guest
Jim, there are NO unimportant prayers. I will keep Josh and his sweet little Raven in my prayers that she is returned safe and sound. Hugs!
