Guest guest
Hi , Glad to know I'm not the only one that suffers from the chronic sinus problems! It sucks to " blow " the honker 24/7 & like you said it makes me feel gross always looking for a kleenex. I have tried vaseline & Vit E it sometimes helps with the dryness & sores but for the most part it's still a huge pain in the rear. I will try the carmex see how it does. My RA said I'll may have to try a few things to see what might work. My RA hopes that maybe when the MTX is completely out of my system & the Lexapro starts to work things will begin to look up. He really is great but doctors are only human & sometimes I think I expect miracles as we all do at times. Being in pain & not knowing from one day to the next how I'll feel makes things hard. I've always been the one who takes care of everyone & everything but I can't anymore I can barely take care of me! It's hard to give up our lives as we knew them even if it might be for the better. Thanks for sharing at least I know I'm not the only one with this sinus crap. Chris a_cone wrote: Hi I too have perfect sinuses but constant issus. I do have the runs throughout the day adn get the sores and bleeds. I'm sure my cube mates wish I'd quit blowing my nose all day. I feel so nasty and gross about it, especially early mornings when I have to clear the clogged up blood and sores from the night before. I find that keeping some carmex (the kinda that squirts out the tube) in there helps some, at least with the bleeds and sores. I am so sorry that you are not feeling well lately. I hope the rheumy finds a new solution for you. Is there other stuff you are wanting to try? Don't be afraid to suggest things to the doc. They are not all knowing and when they feel they can't help, sometimes they are open to patient suggestion. Houston --------------------------------- Never miss an email again! Yahoo!
