Guest guest
The only meds that my Dad is on is his high blood pressure medicine that was changed about 90 days ago, so I doubt that it is the meds. I know he has had physical therapy, medicare pays for so much each quarter, and apparently the therapist was somewhat gun-ho, but I can't see that that would cause this change. I know how terribly sad it is when the parent doesn't know your name, my daily prayer has been for my Dad's safe passage, and to just once before he died to know my name. So you can imagine my elation when he called me by name. When I suprised him on his 90th birthday (he's in an AL in Florida and I'm in Denver, and I thank this group for encouraging me to go) and walked in the door (complete with a bow on my head) going suprise Daddy, happy birthday, he didn't know my name. So, I will enjoy these moments, I know that they may not last. Gail
