Hi Gail,

Thanks for the reply. I also have had the " streaks " almost looks like I was

scratching the area sort of looks like fingernail marks. Funny one Dr. I went to

(dermatolgist) before the diagnosis actually got out his medical book & quoted

to me from it that Middle age women & asks me " thats you correct " (duh I'm 43

at the time) get rashes with unknown causes that may last from 1 month to years

there is really no treatment except to take oatmeal baths & use cortizone creams

when it itches bad (all the time) & that I would have to learn to live with

it???? Hello I had other symptoms than just a rash. I was truly begining to

think I was crazy & maybe somehow it was self induced. I had seen so many

doctors & no one could figure it out, they seemed to write it off as if it

would all go away.

I think the comment your doc. made makes sense.

Take Care,

Chris

Yeah, I've had this, too. Most of the time, it is on my chest,

neck and sometimes my face. I have had it all over my body, when not on meds,

but isn't it just lovely? I used to have people ask me if I had sun poisoning!

Sometimes it will even " streak " on me. That's the only way I know to describe

it. It's like it will be concentrated in an area, then decide to streak out. My

doc tells me that since this disease is autoimmune, the connective tissues are

affected and that is likely where the rash comes from. I think he was just

wondering out loud, but it made sense.

Good day, all!

Hi All,

I posted some pictures & a couple of them show the rash I've had off & on. Just

courious if anyone else has experienced a rash lie this? (it itches horrible)

There is one picture with it on my leg at that time my whole body was covered

like that except my face but even my head had sores. It was prior to diagnosis

but has been that bad at times since diag. as well.

Take Care,

Thanks

Chris

Just curious, but did he say " middle age women " or his book and

knowledge were " from the middle ages " ? LOL
