Guest guest
Hi Jayne, Boy, I can totally relate. I am also 40 and I have been battling this since I was a kid too. And the Drs haven't been supportive nor willing to take the steps to help me find out what was going on as I grew older. I was even told that when you have this as a child when you grow older it is overcome and never bothers you again. WHAT? What can you do when the ones who are suppose to help you are not doing their jobs? I was also told that the arthritis was not active anymore. Interesting. Then why all the pain and stiffness?!? It's enough to make one pull their hair out! I am from Oregon State. After the births of my two boys, I began the battle with the dragon in a bigger way. Recently I have added a new diagnosis to go along with all the other things. I also have Psoriatic Arthritis plus a compressed disk in my spine partly from damage and partly from an old injury--which I didn't know I injured. I am glad that you found us. This disease can leave us wondering and asking a lot of questions, and if we don't know a lot about it, we are left in the dark and feel very alone and scared. Feel free to ask questions and be sure to read over the web page for Still's. A lot of good information is listed there. Welcome to our group. I hope you can find some answers here.
