Guest guest
Hi , I am born 3/18/1956. I have had this for a while. (1972) It did go into remissions for me and then pop back many years later. Anyways with all that your on, I assume it is a rheumatologist. Lowering prednisone has to be done ever so so slowly. Ask all your new friends here. Like 1 mg a month. For some reason some doctors are surprised by this. My brother in Vermont had bad asthma. They used to lower his prednisone 10 mg a pop then take it away at 20mg. Guess how many ER visits he had gasping for air. Until I told him to tell them. I am not putting docs down but they probably did not deal with people who need prednisone for serious reasons( asthma or diseases like ours ) I am so sorry you have this. You sound interesting!! I love city /mountain stuff myself. When I am well I ride horses( English, but would love to learn Western as well) My friend born 2 days before you is going thru a hard time as well...maybe it is in the stars. Patience patience.....not fun at all as I know all so well. Lets see what everyone else has to say!!! Feel better and welcome. Liz born and lived NYC for 37 years now a mom in NJ outside of Philadelphia..had kids late , they are 7 and 12 now ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
