Guest guest
Hi Jayne, You will find much comfort and support here. From asking medical questions to just dishing about personal life, there's not a lot we don't talk about here and there's almost always someone who understands, has been there, has advice, etc, etc. So don't be shy, jump on in. As a side note, I visited Ireland 2 years ago in March. It was amazing! We went everywhere and got to see a litle bit of most everything. Hopefully I get to go back someday. Guest guest
Hey Jayne! Is great to hear from you! Sooooo sorry you are hurting and have been in hospital......I agree with your concern about the allergies....I have an RA patient 76 years old....when in her mid-40s she was completely Bed-bound due to, as it turned-out, allergies!....to food, smells, Certain chemicals, plants.....she " found " an allergist and within a few weeks was no longer bed-bound....hope this helps....as for wanting to isolate....oh yeah, I've been there....communicating with this group and God above really helped pull me through...I feel for you being sick while raising children and going to school... Also, I really admire you!..... Believe it or not, you will get through....I too like to have fun....so let's have fun here.... Start with a yell....go outside, wind up and yeHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Crazy, huh? Northern Ireland i've only seen in pictures, but it looks beautiful! AND here in this group, you are not far away! Hope to talk with you again soon! Many Blessings! Larry B Re:JAYNE hi larry, thanks for your welcome, and everyones elses as well. i had to be admitted to hospital on tuesday. ive been on antibiotics for a chest infection and was allergic to the meds. over the last 2 or three years ive developed alot of allergies and had a blood test which shows i have alot of allergies but my doctors dont seem to take it seriously. this is the second time in about 12 weeks that ive been in hospital because of this and the first time i actually collapsed. i am a single parent with 2 children aged 11 and 9 and ive been through alot of stress this past 4 or 5 years and i think thats why my stills has flared up. its quite scary and lonely being on my own and not being well at the same time so im really glad to have found this site although it will take me quite a while to get to know everyone. im from northern ireland and am studying for my degree part-time but i have fallen a bit behind at the moment. i do have some good friends and am usually quite good fun to be around but at the moment i just want to shut myself away, so this site is a great lifeline. wishing everyone a very happy new yearjayne
