Hope you are having a better day today.

If you don't mind me asking, what meds is your mom on? Do you think

trying different ones might help her?

My heart goes out to you. It sounds like you are having a really

rough time. This disease is not only horrible for our LO but for us

too. You need to take care of yourself too. I know that is easier

said than done. When my mom was going through really bad times, i

thought i was going to just crack! Some nights on the way home i got

terrible thoughts of just driving into a tree or off the bridge. I

was so scared and so angry. Thank god i didn't let those thoughts get

the best of me. They wouldn't of helped my mom or the rest of my

family.

She is fairing pretty well for now( who knows when the bad is right

around corner and we know it is) but i still go through anger and

depression. Thought about getting on something for my depression but

just seem to talk myself out of it.

How old is your mom? Mine is 73.

She has always been a strong and independent woman for years so this

really has been hard to see her fighting this disease which sounds

like a lot of us on here.

You are in my prayers-

Hugs-

Sharon

> Okay, I went out to get the margerine (see last post) and while I

am at the grocery store, my strap on my purse breaks. I go in to

Mom's when I get back home and she is refusing to sleep at my house.

I have no fight left in me, just tears.

caregiver). She couldn't stay the weekend as she looks after another

lady, but she knew that wasn't coming and she phoned to see

if we had gotten a caregiver and to recommend a friend. The friend

called and she is coming tomorrow at 11 am. and she will stay until

Theresa returns.

until midnight. I have just gotten back from getting her ready for

bed and pills and eyedrops etc. I am exhausted but do not know if I

will be able to sleep. I hope that she is okay alone tonight, as I

am so afraid that she will be up hallucinating and becoming afraid.

I guess I can only say that I have done my best today and that is all

I can do. Tomorrow will be better.

Kath,

I am so glad you feel better. I was worried about you. Enjoy your

evening out. You certainly deserve a rest and some " you " time.

Hugs...

Lynn
