Hola o!

Pienso usted piensa que hablo español, pero hablo muy poco. ¿Puedo utilizar

una herramienta de traducción en línea como ahora estoy haciendo y el

español puede ser malo, pero podemos intentar muy bien? ¡Cuidado de la toma!

Hey ,

I have been fairly quiet in the group, haven't had the best time lately and

don't spend too much time on my computer lately. Anyways, my name is .

I was diagnosed when I was 18 and am now 20. Just wanted to say hi to

someone my age, if you ever want to talk I would appreciate it. But everyone

in this group is absolutely amazing, strong, helpful, and caring no matter

how many years have passed in time with or without this disease.

I am sorry you must experience this, but we are all glad you found us, so

that hopefully we can help you through as hopefully you can do the same for

us.

I couldn't be happier for you and your " success " with Enbrel!

Congratulations. You are hope for us all.

I see you are at school. Hope you are able to work hard and enjoy. Talk

soon, hopefully.

Hi all,

I'm new to the group but I was diagnosed with Stills (systemic onset JRA)

when I was 16. I am now 19. I just wanted to say hi to everyone here and

introduce myself.

I literally woke up the day after Christmas and couldn't move. My joints

were all swollen and I had the fevers and rashes... the whole bit. After I

finally got into the local rheumatologist, he basically told me and my

family that I had JRA. He was treating me with very small amounts of

methotrexate.

After several more weeks of constant and unbearable pain, he decided to have

another look at me. He put me on Prednisone and Solumedrol. These were

providing me with temporary relief... but it didn't do the trick. This

doctor told me this is the best we can do.

After more than three months of this doctor's nonsense and unwillingness to

try new things, my parents took me to the Mayo Clinic. I spent 9 days

undergoing tests and I don't even remember what they were for. However, I

feel that Mayo is what really helped me in my fight. The doctors there

diagnosed me with Still's and started me on a very aggressive medicine

routine. The doctors there are the ones who immediately wanted me to start

taking Enbrel.

After about 2 weeks of Enbrel, I considered myself " back to normal. " No

other medicine did what Enbrel did. I no longer had constant pain... and

since then, I feel as if some of my " permanent " damage has reversed. I can

now move my wrists much more than before Enbrel.

Anyways, I am 19 now, three years later, and I no longer have pain. I have

bad days every couple months.... but I have not had a serious flare since

the original period.

That's about all... just wanted to get my story out there.

Happy Thanksgiving!

hombros. Consigo esto a veces. Me acuesto y esto ayuda,

Adiós por el momento o
