Guest guest Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 On page 9 of this important paper is a picture of the device used in the 1934 Scripps Ranch clinic. One of the great things about the PDF format is that one can magnify the text and pictures without a lot of aliasing. The picture doesn't tend to highly pixalate. By enlarging this picture - something curious is seen. On the far right are a couple of what look like ceramic insulators that have wires coming from them. I would assume this is the power output from the amplifier/ transmitter. Both wires go up towards the ceiling, one of the wires comes down and seems to go to the right end of the tube. The other wire comes across and attaches to the left end of the tube. But... on the left end of the tube seems to be attached another wire that appears to be going back towards the equipement.
