Guest guest
Hi : I think it is the " numbed out " thing. I think of it this way -- in order to survive, we had to block out a lot of our feelings. So... as children, not fully understanding what was realistic and what wasn't -- and having Nada's who were not logical -- we learned to block out *all* our feelings. Now... as we slowly get in touch with our feelings, it's a new thing! And some of them are painful! But even the good feelings are *new* to us, because we're in the habit of blocking. I have found that doing relaxation things -- deep breathing, meditation, massage, etc. helps me the most in *un*blocking my feelings. Is this the " numbed out " that Edith talks about? > If so, does it go away? > > >
