Guest guest
Hello , And welcome. You will find much here by way of validation and honest support. Something we're not used to, are we! I found the list around 4 years ago, and what an eye opener!! People like me! To find others who have dealt with the craziness of BPD, to hear someone say, " me too! " was the main thing that helped me get through the worst of it. Myself, I learned about BPD through my doctor. I read all I could about it but until I found this group, I still felt " out there " . I'm the eldest of four, and been the 'bad one' since birth, so there was a lot of banging my head on the wall trying to measure up, and always failing. And nada saw to it that my younger sibs shared the same disdain for me. Out numbered on all sides. But you are so right about strength! We ARE stronger because of what we went through. You couldn't put someone in our place and see this person deal with it! And now here we are, looking for answers, which is more than others will ever do. (in my case my sibs!) I had to walk away from my foo when my dad died. It was beyond bad, and I just couldn't do it anymore. Which of course brought on another series of distortion campaigns, but the results did not bring me back into the fold, like they thought. Thank god for this list! So , welcome to the group. You won't find any Doubting Tomas's here! Warm thoughts, (the " good " little witch) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
