Guest guest
Dear Abby: We older folks call them " senior moments " , and they go away once things calm down, hugs, Josie
Guest guest
Dear Abbie: " once things calm down " is the trick, and it is mostly out of our hands. Teaching is an extremely demanding profession, I understand. The last thing you need is one more demand of your time and energy. Keep organized -- easier said than done. Make lists to keep track of all things; and don't listen to me because I am the least organized person I know! Surprisingly, I am able to cross out items from my lists regularly! Enjoy what you have now and please try to relax, your brains will come back, you just scared them to death and they went to hide. Seriously, don't worry about it and things will be easier. I like the Jamaican saying: " Eirie " , it means " don't worry, be happy " . Of course, some of them get a little " help " to get there! LOL! Have a good, peaceful and loving Christmas. I'll be thinking and praying for you and your family, love, Josie

I can't see how life is going to calm down for me though because I go back to work in February (2nd semester)... Abby
