Son's AST and ALT #'s up

Hi all. Just want to see if this has happened to anyone else and see

what insight you might have on it. My sons AST and ALT numbers on his

blood tests are up. The AST # was 70 on 1-5-08 and 66 on 2-12-08 blood

draw with the normal range being 12-32 U/L. The ALT # was 79 on 1-5-08

and 76 on 2-12-08 blood draw with the normal being 8-30 U/L. On the

first blood draw my son had been on Keto which I read could elevate the

numbers and the doctor concoured. But for this second one he was not

on that. We were hoping to start him on Valtrex but these numbers need

to come down.

Has anyone else had the numbers like this? Was it becuase of a

supplement your child was taking or something else? I just want to try

and get to the bottom of this.
