Guest guest
Yes Carol, my mom is the ex. same she is seventy now and although she had her suicide attempts and bpd behavior all along..her drinking really picked up when she hit her 60's and retired..She would call me nightly drunk..She has really decompensated..It was so funny I used to tell her to go get a volunteer job..Yeah right!!! Edith ..isn't it funny when we can tell if their is a bp on a list..I belong to another list and one member immediately spilt me bad and no matter what I say she has to jump in a give e rebuttal as she calls it..I never seen anything quite like it form a true non although this illness is a continuum, but I suspect she is highly bp..maybe why she gets so mad when I talk about he genetic component of the disease. Your post about he bp daughter coming home really hit home..My seven yr old is doing well, but I have my fear of what the teen years will bring. I have already seen my nieces behavior who is also bp and I surely don't want my to end up with a similar course..All we can do is keep talking and do the best with lots of prayer.. Hania. Don't worry there are days when I think I am a nada too..It is hard, but I think you are doing great...We are in recovery and one day at a time..Let Go ...Let God Many hugs and wishes for a Happy New year!!!!!!!
