Guest guest Posted January 4, 2003 Report Share Posted January 4, 2003 A cat's cruel behavior is natural because it is a predator, and it has evolved to do its job effectively. Why would a human mother behave like a predator to her own children? Perhaps she behaves this way because she lacks something essential in her life. A friend of my wife became a vegetarian, and decided that her cat should be a vegetarian also. The cat survived on this diet, but when she had kittens she ate them. As I write this my cat is alternately licking and biting my hand.
