Guest guest
Hi Angie, I've never taken Remicade but with all of these drugs some do find a miracle and others don't. Definitely be optimistic but also don't set your hopes too high. I find that the drugs that work slower and steady with me are the most beneficial. Good luck and let us know how it goes! Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just had to put my two cents into the remicaide issue. First, Your temperature should be taken before and after your treatment. AN increase in temperature after treatment can be a sign of an adverse reaction. Second, There are no " miracle drugs " . Drugs like remicade are biological drugs made from " murine proteins " or mice. These drugs work differently in everyone. Keep in mind... what works for you may not work for others. I would be concerned if my temp was not taken prior to treatment.... See these drugs can cause serious infections and a high temp as well as bloodwork prior to infusion can tell the doctor if you may be getting an infection.
