Dear Stefania,

I am more inclined to agree with Marla but Isabelle also has a point in

suggesting that somebody is referring to a chemotherapy which may induce

secondary leukaemia. However, I believe that this would have been worded

differently. Do you know which chemotherapy is involved? There are few

chemotherapy agents where secondary leukemias are not uncommon. Maybe that

would give us some additional clues.

Regards

Astrid

it in English (or if you wish in Italian)? Because it's as if something is

missing, it does not make perfect sense to me...

" This medicine is used to treat cancer patients who have had severe bone

marrow problems chemotherapy. " <

Hi Stefania,

chemotherapy causes bone marrow suppression, thus " during chemotherapy "

should be correct.
