They shouldn't worry. Just like many post WWII fights, other nations will expect the US to jump in and do the bulk of the fighting. Even Europe couldn't be bothered to deal with a war in their Balkans. Besides, with the lack of sealift capability it is likely that any new war over there will be over before any outsider, save maybe for China, can intervene.
