Guest guest
All this activity over there but little on the US West Coast. That stress has to be piling up there. I've noticed though that after some of the big quakes, that there is a lot of little activity not just along the coast but also the other end of the fault zone on the eastern side of the Rockies. Now, there are some very large and ancient volcanoes in Nevada and Arizona and more recent evidence of massive quakes and landslides. These quakes seem to form a bow shape from southern California inward and up to Yellowstone then back to the coast toward the Canadian border. I'm wondering if once the stress goes if we won't have an earthquake swarm over the next couple of years along the coast like has been happening in Indonesia with all those 7 magnitude quakes.
