Parent Stipend Information

For the past nine years, Region XIII has determined that supplementing

the cost of parents attending the Texas State Conference has been an

important service. This year a limited number of stipends will be

awarded. This year's stipend will be $250 per award. Priority will be

given in the following order:

* to those parents that have never attended the conference in the past

* to parents that have been, but have never received funds from

ESC Region XIII

* to parents that represent a geographic diversity in ESC Region XIII

* to parents that have the earliest application

Important Information

* SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS IS JUNE 30, 2007.

Awards will be announced by July 15, 2007.

* STIPENDS WILL BE DISBURSED FROM ESC REGION XIII ONLY AFTER

CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE AT THE CONFERENCE. No payments are made in

advance of the conference.

* Parents are responsible for all costs, registration,

transportation and lodging for the conference. ESC Region XIII staff

does not make any of these arrangements.

* A stipend will be awarded to only one member of each family no

matter how many family members are attending the conference.
