I've been lurking on digest for about 2 weeks now. My friend Joan (hi

Joan!) has been talking about tae-bo for a while now, and the other week she

told me about it being on qvc... and I was like " Who's Blanks? " Well,

I think she was going to have a heart attack right there! LOL! So I

watched some of the qvc show, and tried the punches and doing the rolling

hands thing (not sure what that's called yet)... I did that off and on all

day for a few days, and let me tell you, I was sore! But it looked like lots

of fun. I hesitated on buying the 6pack because I thought " What if it's

like every other exercise tape and I burn out and give up? " Then I was

talking to another friend, and she and her daughter have a tae-bo tape that

they got at Best Buy... she picked one up for me and sent it to me. I got

it Monday afternoon, and sat down to watch it. Wow! It looks like FUN!

It's a Crunch Kickology and Tae-boxing tape.

So this morning I decided to try it. After my husband left for work, so he

couldn't laugh at me. LOL! I just got done. Whew! That's a work out! I

didn't try the second half yet, because it's more fast paced, and I was

doing good to keep up with the first part. I'm sweating, but not wheezing,

which is a good thing. I've got asthma, but not too bad anymore. I'm very

overweight and out of shape, but my goal is to be able to climb the 3

flights of stairs of a cabin I'm going to in Gatlinburg, TN in July without

panting and having to stop. LOL!

I think this is the best group for me, because I already hate the scales. I

am going to base my weight loss/muscle tone by clothing size. Right now,

not having to be in a plus size is my short term goal. That would be

awesome! Then I'll set another. I'm going to go do my measurements so I

can watch that too. Sorry this got so long.
