Guest guest
Dear list-mates, I'm translating an article on physical therapy entitled _Variation by Diagnostic and Practice Pattern Groups in the Mobility Outcomes of Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs for Children and Youth_. I wonder what is the meaning of the words starrred in this sentence: documenting gains in mobility within groups using uniform functional measures allows program clinician to evaluate mobility outcomes, develop high-quality improvement initiatives, compare findings from other programs, and *meet accreditation requirement for performance measures* and *benchmarking* Later on, the authors say that through the search of a hospital database and *by confirmatory chart review* they identifed the children who were admitted to the Rehabilitation. Finally, with reference to the assessment used to evaluate functional change, they say: -The range of values for *inter-interviewer realiability* for the clinical standardization sample has been reported to be between .84 and 99. -Reliability studies have demonstrated what we consider good *interrater reliability* and *intrarater reliability*. Hope you can help me. MTIA Miriam
