Guest guest Posted October 23, 2010 Report Share Posted October 23, 2010 It would be much the same in the US even now. Last year my mother got very sick during the flu season and I had to call 911. They said they wouldn't take her in if it was the flu, the hospital wouldn't because they were full up, even if it was a very bad case. Fortunately it wasn't the flu and she got in. Ended up spending a week out there. What annoys me is that very likely people who have insurance will be turned away but people on Medicaid and such will get right in. That's kind of how it seems to have happened last year. I can't prove it of course, just from what I heard. In a message dated 10/22/2010 1:59:43 P.M.
