Guest guest
My 8 year old son was doing great in school for three months, but in the last three weeks he has begun acting up in class. He has acted out almost everyday during the week, been very distracted and hyper. His yeast was moderately high in a recent test and his doctor prescribed diflucan. He is gluten free, but does have dairy. I stopped giving him cheese thinking maybe it was causing him to act up. I have thought of anything and everything, but our schedule is pretty much the same. He is such a picky eater. He is on a low dose ADHD medicine, but I do not want to increase the dosage on it before exhausting every other possibility. In the mornings at home he is calm and for the most part cooperative, but it seems when he gets to school he gets wound up. Any suggestions?
