" They (the U.S.) along with the West (European allies), are plotting to do military interventions in certain countries but they should know that today is not like 10 years ago when they started the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq under the pretext of September 11 (attacks), " Ahmadinejad said during an address to people of Lorestan Province on Wednesday. The United States is seeking to monopolize gas and oil reserves in some northern African countries, he stated. " If you do military interference in North Africa and the Middle East once again, regional nations will respond, " he predicted. He went on to say that no one believes the U.S. and its allies support other nations, since they are the main culprits behind the current crimes in the world. " All people across the world should know that dictatorship is supported by the U.S. government. " Ahmadinejad also pointed to the U.S. military bases in some European countries saying, " Those who produce, stockpile and use atomic bombs have no right to take stance against the Iranian people and the country's nuclear technology. " " They produce nuclear weapons and… have different bases. They violate international law and have set up bases in at least four European countries and stockpile their bombs there, " he noted. The president added, " You should respect rights of nations, recognize their independence and stop your aggression.
