ABOUT THE WALK:

2007 Dallas Walk Now for Autism, set for May 19, 2007 at Ameriquest Field in

Arlington, will benefit Autism Speaks and Cure Autism Now; together

dedicated to increasing awareness of the growing autism epidemic. Autism is

a developmental disability that is rising in prevalence with alarming speed.

The Walk Now for Autism is one of some sixty Walks held around the country.

Each and every Walk Now for Autism participant, whether a co-chair, a

committee member, a team captain, a walker or a donor, plays a critical role

by championing the cause to advance and accelerate autism education,

advocacy, awareness and research. Sign up today to participate in Dallas'

Walk Now for Autism.

As of February 1, 2007 Cure Autism Now and Autism Speaks have merged

operations. To provide ONE STRONG VOICE for the Dallas autism community, the

Walk for Autism Research and the successful Dallas WALK NOW event will be

merging as well. WALK NOW in Dallas raised over $180,000 for autism research

through its history and the Walk for Autism Research has raised over

$300,000.
