The " title " <medico frequentatore> is a typical italian non-title :-)

It is only a definition: a physician without a job, immediately after

earning his/her MD, attends a hospital department only to learn and

acquire experience. He/she is not paid or engaged by the hospital.

I don't know if there is an equivalent term in english (although I suppose

that this kind of medical practice would not be cited in a CV; am I

wrong?).
