Guest guest
There's that pesky jumping to conclusions thing again. I'm not speaking for , the list owner, but I am speaking as someone who also owns a yahoogroup and I can tell you this. The only was to insure that no other emails on this topic go through to people, is to put absolutely every body on moderated status, which would mean would have to read every email that someone tries to post, and then have to approve or not approve it. She sent an email asking for it to be dropped, and she said she would delete any posts on the group. But other than moderating everyone, she can't stop the emails from going to the inboxes of those who have their status set at " individual emails " . Many people can't handle the amount of emails produced by this group, so they read the messages on the board online. is doing the best she can. Let's be adults about it, and just delete the emails that bother us, instead of keeping it going. Thank you , for all that you continue to do for this group. I'm sure it is a hassle sometimes, but we appreciate it. Adilah, you are more than welcome to discuss the topic with whomever you wish, if you would like to reply to someone. But please, as the owner has asked, email them privately. I myself, am still looking forward to your response to the question I asked you. Anne -- Re: Fwd: Imus, Kirby, and Double Standards Why are we still talking about this? I thought the topic was closed or do only certain people in this group get to voice their opinions. This is what I mean by " freedom of speech " . Adilah --- A Chapman wrote: > Adilah, > > Speaking as someone with Jewish heritage, should I > be so forgiving to ?
