You already know the basics. You can always do fewer repetitions to modify the workout. The best part of QVC to me is seeing and Shellie and hanging out with taebo buddies. The workout is kind of a footnote, LOL. Elena
Guest guest
Hi. Has anyone attended anything like the QVC classes before? I'd like some info on what they're like. I might be interested, but I'm just a beginner and a little intimidated about going. I can make it 90% through the original basic tape, but I haven't tried the advanced yet. Its the 5 reps of kicks at the end of the basic that I can't complete. I can do about 3 sets, but then I'm toast. I just don't want to make a fool of myself. Or collapse from trying something too difficult. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Amy (AJ)
Guest guest
Does anyone know if the taping will show up on t.v.? Those of us who can't attend would love to watch all of you! Joan > Hi. Guest guest
AJ, This is going to be my first time at QVC too. From what I've heard from folks who went before is to pace yourself and do what you can. That's what's great about Tae-Bo - you can make it *YOUR* own workout. I'm sure there will be people new to Tae-Bo at QVC, I believe there were the last time. You'll probably find people of all different fitness levels. The main thing is " just have fun! " Hope to see you there! As for the 5 reps of kicks at the end of the basic tape, don't worry - it took us all some time to make it through them all! You sound like you're doing pretty well! Ann Marie - who's first time Tae-Bo'ing with a group will be at this trip to QVC! > Hi. Has anyone attended anything like the QVC classes before? Guest guest
Joan, I'm sure it's going to be! At first they said it was only going to be filmed, but QVC changes their mind just like Tae-Bo customer service! Ann Marie > Does anyone know if the taping will show up on t.v.? AJ, I think you should definitely come There will be TONS of beginners there! Some people have never even done Tae-Bo! You can modify any of the moves that you need to. Meeting and working out with him in person is incredible! I say just take that leap of faith and go for it You'll do fine and we'll all be there if you need extra support

Joan, If it's anything like the last time we went (which it sounds like it is from the way it's set up)...the workouts will be aired on tv! The times of the workouts are Eastern Time, so you just have to figure out what that is in your time zone and then tune into QVC! Usually what they do is have teach for a few minutes, then bring him up to talk to people who call in and to talk about Tae-Bo, etc. Then he goes back and teaches for a few minutes, etc. While he's talking to the QVC guy....Shellie leads the class So, definitely check out QVC at those times or set your vcr up to record it
Guest guest
> O.k. what times are they again? Joan, The workouts are as follows: There is one Friday night (Feb 23rd) at Midnight...that one is an hour. Then there are a bunch of workouts on Saturday, Feb 24th: 7am: 15 minute workout 11am: 1 hour workout 2pm: 15 minute workout 4pm: 15 minute workout 8pm: 1 hour workout 10pm: 15 minute workout I think most of us will definitely be at the 11 am workout. And probably a bunch of the other ones, too You just have to call QVC and sign up for the workouts you want to do! Their number is (800) 600-9900! We'll try to set a meeting place and time when it gets closer to the actual day so we make sure to meet up with everyone who is going

Guest guest
Amy I totally agree with Elena. I've never been to a QVC workout either and I'm very nervous as well. I don't think I'll be able to make it through an entire class but if we modify and walk out some parts I bet we both could get through it. Plus I'm really excited about meeting , Shellie and all my Taebo friends from the group. You should really give it a try. Bev who hopes Amy decides to go to QVC.... : ) > Amy, I think you should give it a try. When we were > there last time, there were tons of beginners who had never done taebo before.
