I am going to chime in on with my thoughts on this subject. The last time we

went and it was costumer appreciation weekend, it was just some dumb luck on

our parts. We didn't plan to be there at that time. I wouldn't feel right

about scheduling a trip just because it is customer appreciation weekend. I

think that weekend is for " customers. " You know, the people who go every week

and toss down 10 bucks a class to workout there. That weekend is a way to say

thanks to all the people who support 's gym. Yes, I know, we support him

too, but I wouldn't call any of us customers, you know? I would feel bad

taking up all of the free personal training and free class space. I think it

should go to those people who are living in the area and working out at the

WTC on a regular basis. It is a weekend for them. I know that if I was a

regular, I might be a bit annoyed by a group of 20+ people who come in once a

year and take up al of the free stuff! LOL! Well, that's my take on the

situation )

Yes, that too! It was crowded and people get cranky when it is crowded! It

might be a lot nicer atmosphere with less people. Also, they were on a

condensed schedule with no intro classes. I would have liked to do a class in

the morning then in the evening, but that option was not available on

Customer appreciation weekend.

Yeah, but unfortunately when you are buying the videos the money is not going

We were in Toronto last weekend to workout at the Toronto Taebo training

center. As far as going in April, I'm far from sure that I can make it. If I

can, I will go by car or by bus. If I go by car, I'll leave Montreal pretty

late (after 5pm). But like I said, I'm running into major complications in my

schedule and my finances (I got 2 large unexpected bills yesterday, but that's a

whole other story).

As far as LA in August is concerned, I have a much better chance of going

because:

1. I've known about it well in advance

2. I have that week off

3. I may be able to use my accumulated Air Canada points towards a free

ticket

4. It'll be more of a vacation than going to Toronto in April

Now the question I asked is what are the exact dates of the get together in LA

so I can reserve my flight early?? (to be able to get the free flight). If no

one answers I'll take it that no one wants me to go... but somehow I just think

my question was just looked over by accident

Don't be silly - of course we want you to go!!!! I believe the dates

are Aug. 16-20. I think most will be there for the weekend. Some

I knew that Elena, I was just kidding. However, I " m a teensy bit paranoid

because I've always been insecure, and I thought that maybe since you've all met

before that you didn't want another person in your well knit " gang " . But of

course, I know that is totally ridiculous!!! LOL

I agree!! While it was great to reap the benefits of that weekend, I

don't think we were the " target audience " for the appreciation.

Also, the classes that weekend were REALLY packed. I'm thinking it

would be nice to be there a weekend that isn't so crowded.

There is always room for one more in the " gang " .

Since this weekend end was my very first " Taebo

Outing " I was the new kid on the block and let me tell

you everyone went out of there way to make me feel

welcome. I am normally a very shy person and the gang

made me feel at easy from the moment I walked up to

them till the second I said goodbye. Take my word for

it you will always be welcome at any time we get

together.

It was Ann Marie (and/or Shellie?) who told us the next one was in

April. One nice thing about going during a customer appreciation

weekend is that everyone (, Shellie, ... ) is going to be

there. It would be disappointing to go out there and find out that

and Shellie are traveling that weekend. Anyway, August is just

fine with me for our convention and it sounds like it is a good time

for a lot of people here and that's what matters!

You guys will have to let me know right away if you do change the

dates of LA. I would LOVE to come, but August is the only month of

the year for my job that would make it very very difficult to

attend.. BUT, even if the dates were changed, I am still uncertain

if I could attend (of course).

I see that makes sense ..

Can I ask how much airline tickets seem to be running for everybody

in August.. I did a search and it looks like about $300 for me and

that's with driving to an airport that is at least 4 hours away!!

are planning a convention and ask him for good dates? Any

volunteers, LOL? I'm a little over my head at work right now to do
