Swine Flu takes 38 lives

Swine flu virus has seized lives of many and continues to expand its stretch

with its expanding reach.

With the monsoon incoming the grip of the disease seems to have tightened and

the nation seems to be infected by the same claiming deaths of as many as 38

coming from other different parts of the nation.

Maharashtra during a short period of a week i. e., July 19 to July 26 has

reported of 18 cases whereas next to the second best is Kerala that poses second

maximum number of 8 cases.

The third highest death case reports came from Karnataka, two death beds came

from Delhi and one from Karnataka. One individual from West Bengal and two from

Gujarat were reported dead due to the malady.

Swine flu cases have soared with the monsoon in rage and total number of 548

cases have come in during this week and all stated to be indigenous cases.

Meanwhile the total number of cases are 14,9077 persons who tested positive and

were reported of swine flu patients at government laboratories and also at few

private laboratories with 34,669 cases (23.2 per cent) of the population claimed

of being positive.
